Construction Company Accountant Position (Junior Level)
Location: Los Angeles, CA

We are a growing design and construction company seeking a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Accounting Professional to support our daily financial operations and project accounting needs. This position plays a key role in maintaining accurate job costing, payroll, and financial reporting in a fast-paced construction environment.

Responsibilities
• Manage day-to-day accounting operations for construction projects and company finances.
• Process Accounts Payable (AP), including vendor invoices, subcontractor payments, and lien waiver tracking.
• Prepare and maintain project running budgets and job costing reports, ensuring accurate cost tracking on a weekly basis.
• Reconcile credit card statements on a monthly basis.
• Track jobsite worker attendance (Jobsite/Wire system) and process bi-weekly payroll.
• Maintain subcontractor agreements, insurance certificates, W-9 forms, and compliance documentation.
• Maintain accurate accounting records in QuickBooks (Desktop or Online).
• Coordinate with project managers to ensure proper cost allocation and timely project reporting.
• Maintain organized digital and physical accounting files and records.
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications
• Minimum 2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience.
• Construction industry accounting experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with QuickBooks (Desktop).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Strong understanding of job costing and construction accounting principles preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Bilingual in English and Korean preferred (ability to communicate in both languages is a plus)

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle required.

Salary & Benefits
• $48,000 – $60,000 per year (based on experience)
• 90-day probationary period
